My passion for science knows no bounds! Join me as we embark on an exhilarating journey through the world of discovery. My adventure began as an immigrant to the USA, with big dreams and an insatiable curiosity.
Over the years, I’ve transformed into a committed graduate student and a passionate champion of environmental chemistry, with a specific focus on energy and carbon dioxide conversion. I’ve even authored five captivating books in “The Adventures of Chemist Clara” series, dedicated to breaking stereotypes and sharing the joy and excitement of pursuing dreams and exploring the wonders of science, one page at a time!
But it’s not all about lab coats and textbooks for me. I have a profound love for connecting with people and sharing my knowledge with a crowd. Whether I’m speaking about carbon dioxide conversion, the pursuit of dreams, women in STEM, or the paramount importance of diversity, I relish every opportunity to engage and inspire.
I also leverage my leadership skills in national organizations, such as the American Chemical Society, where I orchestrate awards programs, host events, and create engaging chemistry shows that unite a diverse community of participants and attendees. Additionally, I’m the driving force behind international nonprofits, particularly Theory of Joy. This visionary initiative is dedicated to making STEM not only accessible but also exciting and enjoyable for all.
